Heffner, Carolyn Ann, 77 of Tipp City passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Kettering Hospital. Born December 6, 1936 in Dayton, OH to the late Paul Herschel and Dorothy Louise {Shroads} Beard. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter; Phyllis A. Berger and sister; Martha Ballard. She is survived by her loving husband; Jim A. Heffner, with whom she would have celebrated her 24th Wedding Anniversary on April 13th. Also surviving are her children; Michael and his wife (Jodi) Grove, Degraff, OH, son in-law Timothy Berger, Tipp City, step-daughters; Teresa Lee Psczulkoski, Tipp City, Bonni and her husband Joe Thompson and Tina and her husband Michael Ashton all of Pleasant Hill, OH along with 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Carolyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Nashville United Church of Christ, West Milton, where she sang in the choir and served as a trustee. Carolyn always said; she had never been anywhere…but she'd been around the world. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371, Reverend Lynn Labbs officiating. Burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 8th at the funeral home.
