Clingan, Carl E. age 85 of Vandalia, OH passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018.  Born August 14, 1933 in Piqua, OH to the late Harold L. and Dorothy {Ilo} Clingan.  He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Loretta {Manson} Clingan, daughters, Cindy (Randy) Graham, Vandalia, OH and Jo. A. (Sherrod) Cowan, Texas and son Tom Clingan, Vandalia, OH, brother, Wallace (May) Clingan, Tipp City, OH and 3 grandchildren, Curt Wagner, Robyn Baynqs  and Ameelya Wagner.

Carl proudly served his country during the Korean War in the United States Air Force, and was employed as a machinist for General Motors, Inland Division.  He enjoyed fishing, camping and playing softball and volleyball.

Funeral service, 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371; Pastor Ryan Shellabarger officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.  Visitation 10:00 AM until Noon on Tuesday before the service.
