Knisley, C. Kermit, 81 of Tipp City died Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy surrounded by family and friends. Born February 21, 1929 in Troy, Ohio to Clifford and Velma {Williamson} Knisley. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother Marion. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Ruth {Shay} Knisley, son; Steven Knisley, brothers; Edwin Knisley, Lima, Ohio and Bruce Knisley, Vandalia, Ohio 3 grandchildren, and special friends, Linda Slade, Amy (Don) Ragan and Lisa Slade. Kermit is a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Army and was a retired wind tunnel engineer from WPAFB. He was a member of the American Legion Post #586, Tipp City and his favorite pastime was collecting frogs. Funeral service 11:00 AM, Monday, October 18, 2010 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, Ohio 45371 with Pastor James McFadden officiating, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation 4 to 7 PM Sunday, at the funeral home.
