Obituary

Bair, Byron of Tipp City, Ohio, formerly of Painesville, Ohio passed away October 24, 2011 at home at the age of 93. He was born September 5, 1918 in Des Moines, Iowa to Dr. Charles and Grace Bair. He was an Eagle Scout and a World War II veteran serving as I Sgt. In the 7th Army Air Corps as a Radar Technician. He was an avid lifetime photographer. His wife Alice McGee Bair, son George (Dorothy) Bair of Painesville, OH and daughter Sharon (Chris) Rose of Ashtabula, OH survive him. In addition, Byron had five grandchildren, Kenny and Jennifer Bair, Susan Kundrath (Mark), Richard Biller (Jennifer) and Joel Biller (Regina) as well as seven great-grandchildren. Step-children included Alexis (Bill) Duff of Tipp City, Claudia (Rick) Swift of Las Vegas, NV Betty Bidwell of Reston, VA, Francine (Bobby) Parsons of Winston-Salem, NC, Doug (Elsa) McGee of Santee, CA. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Migie and his brothers, Donald, Watt, and Roy. Visitation will be at the Tipp City United Methodist Church, corner of Main and Third St. on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed immediately by funeral service at 11:00 AM.
