Plank, Bruce E. age 56 of Tipp City passed away alongside his trusty companion "Whiskey" on Sunday, January 29, 2017. Born August 9, 1960 to Dale Plank and Phyllis {McWilliams} Emswiler. He is preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Elwood "Woody" Emswiler and a brother, Roger Plank. He is survived by his sister, Sue Ewald, Tipp City and nieces and nephews, Jeff (Andrea) Jay, Emily J. Jay, Tara Plank and Brad Plank. Bruce was a 1979 graduate of Tippecanoe High School and worked as a manager for Englefield Oil, Dayton, OH. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and enjoyed fishing and golfing. He loved all sports and was a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Noon on Saturday February 11, 2017 at Charis: A Ministry of Grace, 203 N. Fourth St. Tipp City, OH 45371; Pastor Linda Ares officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Noon at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, OH 45371. Contributions may be made in loving memory of Bruce and "Whiskey" to the Miami County Humane Society.
