IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brenda Allene
(Holsinger) Perry
April 1, 1972 – November 5, 2025
With peaceful hearts and steadfast faith, we celebrate the life and homegoing of Brenda Allene Holsinger Perry, who entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on November 5th 2025. Though we grieve her earthly absence, we find comfort in knowing that Brenda's life — and her passing — rest perfectly in the hands of a loving and sovereign God whose plan is always good and whose glory shines through all things.
Brenda was born on April 1, 1972 to Allen and Bernadine (Fullmer) Holsinger. Being the first girl after three boys, her arrival on April Fools' Day was both fitting and full of joy — a delightful reflection of God's sense of humor and love.
She was baptized into the Lord's family on June 18, 1987, marking the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith. Brenda's walk with Christ was sincere and steadfast — her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and deep love for others flowed from her devotion to the Lord.
On September 7, 1991, Brenda married her big brother's friend and neighbor, David Perry. Together they shared a bond built on love, laughter, and faith in God's promises. Their union was blessed with the miracle of their daughter, Summer Le-An Perry (Bishop), born October 13, 1992 — Brenda's greatest earthly joy and one of God's sweetest gifts to her.
Summer married Justin Bishop on August 26, 2011, blessing Brenda and David with two precious grandsons — Tripp Holden (8) and Zane Trace (5). Brenda's heart overflowed with love and pride for her family. When their family faced the challenge of Tripp's Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Brenda's faith never wavered. She trusted that even in trials, God was at work, weaving His purpose and revealing His glory through every circumstance.
Brenda is survived by two older brothers (one awaiting Brenda in heaven) and a younger sister, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who loved her deeply. Each carries the imprint of her kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering belief that God's will is perfect.
Her life was a living testimony of faith — a reminder that joy, peace, and purpose are found not in our own plans, but in trusting the One who holds all things together. Though we miss her presence, we rejoice in knowing that Brenda is now whole, healed, and home — resting safely in the arms of Jesus.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5–6
"The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." — Job 1:21
To God be all the glory for Brenda's life, her love, and her legacy of faith.
