Obituary

Taylor, Betty Lou 92 of Tipp City passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Born in Tipp City, OH on April 10, 1922 to Claude and Mary Senseman. She is survived by her children; Sharon A. (Taylor) and husband Ray Cromer, Troy, OH, Bruce E. Taylor and wife Rosalind of Miamisburg, OH, Barbara L. (Taylor) and husband Dean Deacey of Michigan. Also surviving are grandchildren: Don Cromer, Brian Taylor, Marc Taylor, Katie (Taylor) Lepper, Aaron Taylor, Richard Vaughan, Jim Vaughan, Samantha, Greg and Katie Roeth, great grandchildren: Braden, Bryson, Caitlin & Bryant Vaughan, Bailey, Brady & Charlotte Taylor, Ben Lang, Drew and Jacob Taylor, Madeline and Abigail Lepper, Shannon Cromer, Jamie Bertone, and Brian Smith along with great-great grandchildren: Jasmine Applegate, Mark Anthony Bertone and Selena Cromer. Betty was preceded in death by her husband; Joe Taylor, her parents; Claude and Mary Senseman, brother; Rodney Senseman, grandchildren; Billy Vaughan and Karen S. Cromer. Betty was a graduate of Vandalia Butler High School. She was part owner and retired from the Tea House in downtown Tipp City. Prior to that she worked as a cafeteria manager at Montgomery County Vocational School, Dayton, OH. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Tipp City, Tipp City Senior Citizens, played trombone for 20 years in the Tipp Community Band, was a member of the Tipp City Historical Society and a leader for the Camp Fire Girls. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Monday, May 12, 2014 at the First Baptist Church 6533 S. Tipp Cowlesville Rd., Tipp City, Pastor Gary Boggs officiating, burial to follow in Forest Hills Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 10:00 AM until time of service at Noon, at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Contributions may be made in loving memory of Betty to First Baptist Church, Tipp City.
