Sauls, Betty Jean {Derr} 89 of Tipp City passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Spring Meade Health Center, Tipp City. Born January 5, 1926 in Bloomer, OH to Alonzo and Mary Ellen {Shiverdecker} Derr. She is preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Nathan Sauls, brothers, Arden, Arthur and Tommy Derr and sister, Lottie Leeper. Betty is survived by her children; Matthew and his wife Pam Sauls, and Mark Sauls all of Tipp City, grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Deiderich, Camden Sauls, Amanda Sauls and Benjamin Sauls and great grandchildren, Jackson and Alexander Deiderich. Betty was a 1943 graduate of Bradford High School, had worked at WPAFB as a records clerk and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Tipp City. She enjoyed reading and loved taking care of her grandkids. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church, 14 W. Walnut St., Tipp City, OH; Pastor Jeff Glawe officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of service at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, OH 45371. Contributions may be made in loving memory of Betty to the church memorial fund.
