Bross, Betty R. {Robinson} 64 of Tipp City lost her hard fought battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. She was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.

Born May 9, 1949 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Carl and Marcella {Lewis} Robinson. Also preceding her in death is father in-law; John Bross. She is survived by her loving husband; William R. Bross, son; Tim and his wife Mandi Bross, Springboro, OH, daughter; Kristin and her husband Kevin Mikolajewski, Troy, OH, brother; Jon (Rosalie) Robinson, Portsmouth, OH, sister; Jeannie Faudree, Columbus, mother in-law; Betty J. Bross, Springfield, OH, brother in-law; Jim (Carol) Bross, Ft. Mills, SC, and 3 grandsons; Owen, Grant Bross and Paxton Mikolajewski.

Betty earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Ohio University, and her Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of Dayton. She retired from Tippecanoe High School where she was a teacher and later a guidance counselor. She was a member of the Jaycees and past president of Jaycettes, and a big OSU Buckeye fan. Betty loved being near the water. She enjoyed the ocean, the beach, Florida and boating at Lake Cumberland.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371, Hospice Chaplain Ed Ellis officiating, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
