Kessler, Betty J. 91 of New Carlisle, OH went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 25, 2016 in Hospice Care, Troy, OH. Born January 23, 1925 in Troy, OH to Clyde and Margaret {Kessler} Stockslager. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Russ, Mike, Fred & Jim Stockslager and sister, Anna Mae Kadel. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Richard E. Kessler, sons; Clyde Kessler, Bethel Township, Miami County, Rex Kessler, West Milton, OH, Leroy (Peggy) Kessler, Kiser Lake and Andrew (Belinda) Kessler, Vandalia, OH. Also surviving are sister, Cecilia Peele, West Milton, OH and brothers, Roy Stockslager, California, Marvin (Carlene) Stockslager, Ludlow Falls, OH and Lee (Sis) Stockslager, Troy, OH/ along with numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was a member of the Church of Christ, Bethel Township. She dearly loved her family and many friends and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371; Scott Gravitt officiating. Burial will follow in Wheelock Cemetery, Nashville, OH. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the funeral home.
