Hawk, Betty Mae, age 82 of Tipp City, died August 20, 2015 in Dayton, Ohio. Born May 30, 1933 in Middlesboro, KY to Si and Maggie (Wilder) Davis who preceded her in death. Betty retired as a restaurant manager with Cassano Foods and also Tipp City Drywall. She attended the Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by several siblings and grandson Steven Peck in 2014 and great grandson Noah McWhinney. Surviving are her children Gary (Barbara) Hawk, Xenia; Roger (Lisa) Hawk, Tipp City; Mike (Cherie) Hawk, Tipp City; Beverly Bevan, Tipp City; and Nancy Peck, Christiansburg. One brother Ulys (Tina) Wilder, New Carlisle. Sister-in-laws Brenda Wilder, Huber Heights and Beth Davis, Indianapolis, IN. Grandchildren Christy (Carl) Southworth, Xenia; Jennifer (Scott) McWhinney, London, OH; Michael Bevan, Tipp City; Dusty (Amby) Hawk, Tipp City; Wesley Hawk, Tipp City. Great grandchildren Kayla and Cody Southworth; Zachary, Aiden and Emma McWhinney; Paisley Hawk; Gwen and Maddison Peck. Several nieces and nephews. Betty enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, and her favorite NASCAR driver Dale Jr. She loved her family and friends and will be truly missed by all. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main Street, Tipp City, OH 45371. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
