IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Barbara "Barbie" A.
Jones
August 12, 1970 – February 23, 2026
Barbara (Barbie) Jones of Tipp City, OH, a loving and kind soul who above all else loved her son, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, after suffering a stroke at the age of 55. She was surrounded by her loved ones in her final days.
Barbie was known to be generous to friends and strangers alike, always ready to listen or lend a hand. She was an enthusiastic gift giver and continued that giving tradition in the end, by choosing to be an organ donor. We’re deeply proud of her selflessness and our family finds peace in knowing her desire to help others is being honored.
She cherished her pets all her life, none more than Duchess, the gentle dog who kept her company right up to the end. She also loved tending her little backyard garden, whipping up home cooked meals in the kitchen, and browsing shops and sales for treasures.
Barbie reserved her deepest love for her son, Seth, who she has been proud of each and every day of his life. She loved teaching him new things when he was little and seeing him grow up into a wonderful young man has been her greatest joy. She was enormously proud of him, his efforts in golf and school, but mostly proud of him because he is kind and generous and a genuinely good person.
Barbie was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Jones and will be deeply missed by her devoted son, Seth Jones, her mother and step father, Jean and Richard Long, her sister, Jennifer Kremer (and husband Kevin Kremer), her brother Brian Jones (and wife Abby Jones), her brother Joshua Jones and a wide circle of extended family and friends who will remember her smile, generosity and free spirit.
The family suggests that anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in Barbie’s honor to please consider, NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). Arrangements have been entrusted to Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City.
