Smith Arthur O. 54 of Tipp City passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Grandview Hospital, Dayton, OH. Born December 7, 1957 in Dayton, OH to Ray F. and Jennie S. {Sipos} Smith. He is preceded in death by his father; Ray F. Smith and a nephew; Adam Herring and brother in-law; John Orians. He is survived by his mother; Jennie Smith, Tipp City, Sisters; Ruth and her husband Matt Herring, Bonnie and her husband Larry Stark and brother; David Smith all of Tipp City, sister in-law; Carol Orians, Laura, OH. Also surviving are nieces and nephews; Alex (Christine) Herring, Aron (Thomala) Herring, Austin (Julie) Herring, Alison Herring, Eva Stark, Betsy Stark, Ellie (Jason) Royce, Christie Smith and Michael Orians. Arthur was a 1976 graduate of Tippecanoe High School was employed by Walt's Auto Parts, Springfield, OH, loved playing softball, sponsoring baseball and was a Reds, Bengals and OSU fan. Services will be held at 8:00 PM on Friday, October 19, 2012 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371, Pastor Lynn Labs officiating. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
