Amy Michelle VerValin passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be remembered for her generosity and kindness. Amy was adopted as an infant from Korea and raised in Columbia City, Indiana. She lived in many places from Germany to New York but resided in Tipp City, Ohio for several years.

She was a person who loved to help people. Amy loved walks in nature and the beauty of the world around her as well as her dog, Cooper. Family and friends will remember her bright smile and quiet thoughtful nature.

Amy is survived by her dad Dave and Judy, her mom Sue, her brother Eric and sister Megan, her stepsisters Astrea and Adrienne plus nine nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her sister, Joanna, Grandma Beck, Grandma Lorraine and Aunt Mary.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
