Simpson, Allan "Al" age 90 of Tipp City, Ohio died Thursday, April 8, 2010 at his granddaughter's residence. Born January 6, 1920 in Fort Thomas, Kentucky to George and May (Yancey) Simpson. Al was retired from A.O. Smith Corporation in Tipp City where he worked as a mechanical and electrical engineer. An Army Air Corp Veteran of WW II. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, a member of the First Baptist Church, Tipp City; and a former member of the Tipp City Lions Club. Preceded in death by his wife Garnet in 1994; brother George Simpson and sister Elsie Kramer. Surviving Al are his children Robert A. and his wife Judy Simpson, Beavercreek; Jeannie Hall, Dayton; and Gary L. and his wife Maryann Simpson, Brookville. Grandchildren Angela (Ismail) Hall; Jeff (Angela) Hall; Julie (Phil) Smith; and Robin Bostick. 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 13, 2010 at 11:00 am at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 West Main Street, Tipp City, OH 45371. Visitation 9:30 am to time of service also at Frings and Bayliff. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Al's memory.
