Atkins, Agnes Magdalene age 89 of Tipp City, Ohio died Thursday March 18, 2010 at Miami Valley Hospital. Born September 7, 1920 in Fort Loramie, Ohio the daughter of Leo and Rose (Steinke) Sherman. A member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Tipp City and the church over 50 club. Agnes was a retired registered nurse with over 50 years of service from St. Elizabeth Hospital, Dayton; and the office of Drs. Sutton and Price, Tipp City. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin F. Atkins III; infant son Junior and son Douglas. Surviving Agnes are her children Joy Blaul, Tipp City; Mary and her husband Barry Donnelly, St. Michael, PA; Edwin and his wife Debra Atkins, Tipp City; Catherine Flohre, Albany, GA; and David Atkins, Tipp City. Twin brother Lester Sherman, Beavercreek. Fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial 10:30 am Tuesday March 23, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 S. Hyatt Street, Tipp City. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. Visitation 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm Monday at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main Street, Tipp City.
