William "Bill" Stiles

Stiles, William "Bill" Lester, age 64 of Troy, Ohio formerly of Tipp City and Wapakoneta, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 1, 2010 at his residence, surrounded by family after an extended illness. Born September 6, 1945 in Troy, Ohio to Richard "Dick" James and Jeannette Pearl {Clawson} Stiles. Preceded in death by his parents, and one brother; Richard Brent Stiles. Bill was a 1963 Graduate of Tippecanoe High school, he worked as a Senior Account Manager for Dayton Freight Lines, was a Charter member and past president of Wapak Breakfast Optimist Club, past member and office holder of Miami Valley, Upper Valley and Lima Traffic Club and a member of Wapak "Friday the 13th Black Cat Club". He was very active in the Wapakoneta community and coaching youth sports and activities, and was a proud member of the Wapak Optimist Precision Lawn Mower Drill Team. Bill is survived by his wife of 37 years; Charlet {Smith} Stiles, Troy, Ohio; his children; Angela Leigh and husband Britt Baldock, Germantown, TN; Jeffery William and wife Kathrin Stiles, Columbus, OH; Matthew Richard and wife Karolyn Stiles, Columbus, OH and Ryan John Stiles, St. Louis, MO. Also surviving are 3 sisters; Julia J. (Dave) Reeder, Hendersonville, TN; Molly A. (Robert) Huffman, Homosassa, FL and Shelly L. (Lee) Lampert, Tipp City, OH; brother in-law, Thomas and wife Susan Smith, Ft. Wayne, IN and 5 grandchildren; Andrew, Joshua and Ryan Baldock and Nolan and Henry Stiles. Memorial Service 2 PM Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Tipp City United Methodist Church, 8 W. Main St. Tipp City. Visitation 12 to 2 PM prior to service at the church.
