Judith Hanshaw Obituary

Judith Ann Holl Hanshaw, age 76, of Tipp City, went to her heavenly home on Friday May 31, 2019.  She was born in Dayton, Ohio September 30th 1942 to the late Raymond B Holl Jr. and Mae (Grooms).  Judy was a life-long native of Tipp City and a 1960 graduate.  She married her high school sweetheart, Tex Phillip Hanshaw, June 24, 1961, and they shared 42 years of marriage together before he preceded her in death on October 19, 2003.

Judy’s joy was taking care of her family. Her eyes lit up when talking about her grandchildren who affectionately called her Mimi. She also had a playful ornery side with a contagious laugh. She enjoyed cooking, playing games and spending quality time with her family. She was genuinely interested in others lives, their stories and made you instantly feel like family.

Over the years she held various positions with BF Goodrich, Miami County Court House and Troy Ford.  She was a member of Tipp City United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and a past member of D.A.R.

She is survived by son Phillip Hanshaw (Ann Haupert) and daughter Kimberly George both of Tipp City and daughter Julie McLerran (Tommy) of Troy, Missouri.  Grandchildren Tristan McLerran (Katie), Torrie McLerran, Tierney McLerran, Tarrah McLerran, Tradd McLerran, Phillip George, Mirannda (Zach) Figert and Madison Mullenix (Zack Armfield).  Great-granddaughter Montgomery Armfield.  Brothers Thomas Holl, Michael Holl (Sara) and Ronald Holl (Lora).  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Jerry Holl and his wife Nancy, infant brother Alan Holl and sister-in-law Pam Holl.

A private family graveside service is planned.  Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St.,Tipp City, OH 45371.
