John Will Prewitt

Prewitt, John Will Jr. “Pap” age 71 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away, Monday, July 2, 2018.  Born April 12, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to John Will Prewitt, Sr., and Lela {Curtis} Prewitt.  He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Belinda Prewitt.  John is survived by his wife, Diane {Dolinski} Prewitt, Tipp City, Ohio, daughter, Stacey (Doug) Griffin, Tipp City, Ohio, sister, Arlean (John) Slaven, Huber Heights, Ohio and 2 grandchildren, Macey and Matthew Griffin.

John was a 1965 graduate of Wayne High School, served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and retired as Operation Manager from Duriron Corp., Dayton, OH. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Tipp City, Ohio.  John was a NASCAR fan, enjoyed caring for his vegetable garden, vacationing in Las Vegas and gambling.  He especially loved spending time with his family and grandkids.  John was a wonderful husband, father and Pap; he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Celebration of Life 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371.  Visitation 6:00 to 8:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.  Donations may be made in loving memory of John to American Lung Association.
