Gladman, Herbert R. “Herb” age 90, of Troy, Ohio passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Koester Pavilion after a lengthy illness. Born July 30, 1927 in Champagne County, OH to Amos and Elizabeth (Bishop) Gladman. Herb was a retired over-the-road truck driver. He proudly served in the US Navy Seabees during WW II. A life member of the Troy Fish and Game Club and a life member of AmVets Post 88, Troy. A member of the Frank E. Robinson American Legion Post 586, Tipp City and attended the Tipp City United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his wife Diane L. (Wick) Gladman in 2008. Surviving are his daughters Bobbye (Phil) Woods, Troy; Cindy Ward, Piqua; and Kay (Jim) Vaughan, Tipp City and one son John Kessler of Tipp City. Sister Brenda Kay (Larry) Woodruff, Casstown, OH. Twelve grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Special thank you to the nurses and staff of Koester Pavilion for their wonderful care. Funeral services 10:30 am Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Pastor Bonita Ritchie officiating with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be held 5:00 -8:00 pm Wednesday, at Frings and Bayliff.
